Resumen

Abstract Aromatic astatine compounds can be prepared under mild conditions in high yields by reaction of astatine with aromatic mercury compounds. Compared to direct electrophilic astatination this procedure is an easy and clean method for the introduction of astatine in aromatic compounds.
