Transmission electron microscopic and small angle X-ray diffraction investigations of Au55(PPh3)12Cl6 microcrystals†

Micrometer sized crystals of close packed Au55(PPh3)12Cl6 clusters are formed from dichloromethane solution and are investigated by transmission electron microscopy and small angle X-ray diffraction.
