Abstract

Aquaculture defines as the culture of Aquatic organisms in the controlled conditions like stable Water quality, Feed Management, Disease Management and other activities. Aquaculture plays a major role in National and Global economy and also it plays a vital role in food and nutrition. Small-scale fish farmers, especially those in inland regions, play a vital role in this industry. However, they often face significant challenges in detecting fish diseases early, relying primarily on manual observation. This traditional approach can be error-prone, slow, and sometimes ineffective in identifying symptoms before the disease spreads extensively. To overcome these limitations, an AI-based disease detection system is proposed. Such a system would utilize optical sensors to regularly monitor fish health, enabling the early detection of disease symptoms. It would then send instant alerts to farmers and stakeholders, allowing for prompt intervention. Implementing this technology can help reduce fish mortality, minimize financial losses, and improve overall farm management. This innovative approach offers a faster, more accurate, and efficient way to maintain fish health and promote sustainable aquaculture practices.
