Key Points

  • The research aims to establish the cyclic universe model as a viable alternative to the traditional Big Bang theory.
  • Developed a theoretical model considering cosmic expansions and contractions.
  • Analyzed the dual critical threshold mechanism influencing cosmic behavior.
  • Evaluated the scientific reasoning and plausibility of the cyclic universe hypothesis.
  • Proposed that the universe undergoes continuous cycles of expansion and contraction.
  • Demonstrated that energy accumulation at quantum-scale thresholds initiates new Big Bang events.
  • Highlighted the cyclic universe hypothesis as a rational solution to the standard Big Bang theory's limitations.

Abstract

This paper proposes a self-consistent cyclic universe model, arguing that the Big Bang is not the absolute origin of the universe but a transitional node in an infinite closed evolutionary cycle. The universe operates under a dual critical threshold mechanism: it expands continuously until approaching an upper cosmic scale limit, then reverses to a contracting phase; when it shrinks to a lower quantum-scale critical threshold, accumulated extreme energy triggers a new Big Bang, restarting cosmic expansion. The paper analyzes the theoretical rationality and physical plausibility of this model, showing that the cyclic universe hypothesis is scientifically reasonable and provides a new perspective to address the limitations of the standard Big Bang theory.
