4,319 healthy Korean adults who underwent cardiac computed tomography (CT) in a health promotion center. Exclusions: elevated triglyceride levels (≥400 mg/dL), malignancy, acute inflammatory or infectious disease, history of angina, myocardial infarction, cerebrovascular accidents, hypertension, diabetes, renal disease, and use of statins or triglyceride-lowering medications.
