Author Correction: A generalizable approach for programming protease-responsive conformationally inhibited artificial transcriptional factors

YLYinxia LiuLZLingyun ZhaoJLJinshan Long

Key Points

  • This correction aims to address errors in the reported values related to protease-responsive artificial transcriptional factors.
  • Corrections were made to the Source Data of Supplementary Fig. 12b.
  • Updated values included corrected metrics for the nucleus-to-cytosol fluorescence ratio.
  • Corrected the nuclear translocation increase due to TEVp-induced cleavage to 2.1-fold from 2.2-fold.
  • Fluorescence ratios were updated from 0.39 ± 0.11 to 0.38 ± 0.11, with a significant p-value of < 0.0001.

Abstract

In the version of this article initially published, due to a data transfer error, values for cell nos. 13–18 in the Source Data for Supplementary Fig. 12b were duplicate values for cell nos. 7–12. The Source Data and Supplementary Fig. 12b have been updated. Associated text in the fourth paragraph has been updated, where in the text now reading “In contrast, TEVp-induced cleavage triggered significant nuclear translocation of eGAL +/+ , evidenced by a 2.1-fold increase in the nucleus-to-cytosol fluorescence ratio (0.38 ± 0.11 vs 0.18 ± 0.12; p < 0.0001, Supplementary Fig. 12b),” “2.1-fold” replaces the original “2.2-fold” and “0.38 ± 0.11” replaces the original “0.39 ± 0.11.” The changes have been made in the HTML and PDF versions of the article.
