The theses are devoted to the analysis of the peculiarities of Turkey-Israel interstate relations at the present stage. At the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries Turkey and Israel were reliable partners in trade, economic, and political spheres, however, with the coming to power in Turkey of Recep Erdogan and, accordingly, Ankara's efforts to strengthen its geopolitical positions not only in the Middle East region, but also on the world stage, these relations have radically deteriorated. It was revealed that, despite significant difficulties in bilateral political relations, Israeli and Turkish businessmen are interested in trade cooperation between two countries, and the prospects for improvement of official interstate relations will depend on the willingness of both Tel Aviv and Ankara to compromise on issues of international importance.
