This paper analyzes the views of the Vocational Education teachers regarding intercultural education in the prefecture of Larissa. The role of the teacher and the educational / teaching practices, the relationship of immigrant students with indigenous students, the relationship of immigrant parents with the school, the performance of immigrant pupils as well as the teacher training needs were investigated. The research process resulted in data coding and statistical analysis of teachers΄ views, which in turn led to important conclusions on the need to institutionalize the training or even retraining of teachers in the implementation of intercultural education in the Greek education system.
