The research aims to investigate the social representations of Greek students about discrimination against immigrants. This is a non-systematic and unrepresentative study of quantitative and qualitative data, which attempts to reconcile Social and Cultural Psychology with regard to the issue of social discrimination and prejudice. It was implemented through the search for correlations between students" responses to the event used as a stimulus, their socio-cultural background and their responses to the importance of public image to identifying their impact on representations. The results show that the socio-cultural context and cultural identity are significantly correlated with the scenario, while the place of pupils" urban centers and the importance of the family"s public image were important indicators of studens placement. The research confirms this link and the socio-cultural orientation of this particular sample of Greek tudents to the culture of honor and suggests areas for further research on this issue.
