In this article the design, the evolution and the output of an environmental education program is presented through the lens of its evaluation. All the educational, pedagogical and emotional benefits that the students acquired are emphasized. Ιt is analyzed how the program deliverables can become a tool for future environmental education, upgrading the extroversion of the school unit. It is proven that the contribution to the local community constitutes an integral part of the school unit, which is emphasized by this school project. It is demonstrated that the most reliable quality assessment index, is the production οf valuable educational output from students in the subject area that they were initiated. This article concludes with the recording and evaluation of errors and shortcomings. The synthesis of the positive and negative evaluation points leads to a proposal for future school activities.
