The study examines the current challenges facing the entrepreneurial environment in Russia that impede eco-nomic growth and national development, the resolution of which is essential for ensuring the country’s eco-nomic security. Consequently, the systematic analysis of information pertaining to business support measures in the Russian Federation and the identification of weaknesses in their implementation have become impera-tive. The aim of the study is to evaluate the effectiveness of existing business development support mecha-nisms in Russia and to explore possibilities for their optimization. The study revealed that, despite a large-scale business support program, not all measures work effectively. This underscores the pressing need to identify approaches to sustaining business support in Russia that do not entail increased fiscal expenditures from the country's budget.
