This paper considers the problem of increasing students' interest in studying mathematics at the university and the problem of forming the economic culture of the future generation. The mathematics section "Linear Algebra" makes it possible to establish direct interdisciplinary links between mathematics and economics. An example of a mathematical model of equilibrium prices for use in practical mathematics classes is given.
