This research aimed to find out the structure of Muhammadiyah curriculum and its implementation as well as to find out the character values that can be learned from K.H. Ahmad Dahlan in SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Purwokerto. This was a qualitative research that used observation, interview, and documentation to collect the data. The subjects of this research were the tenth graders of Social Education Class 1 and eleventh graders of Mathematics and Natural Science Class 1 of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Purwokerto. The data were analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the ISMUBA (Al-Islam, Muhammadiyah, and Arabic) curriculum had additional hours in every religion subject. Besides, there were also problems faced by either students or teachers. The successful achievement of this research could be seen from the implementation of character values of Ahmad Dahlan to the students that strengthened their nationalism, religiousness, tolerance, hard work, and patriotism. In addition, students can also imitate the value discipline and obedience in performing worship, appreciating diversity and criticism, sincerely performing shalawat (praising Prophet Muhammad SAW) and reciting the Quran, owning a leadership and joining an organization.
