This article analyzes international fundraising as a strategic necessity rather than an optional expansion for non-profit organizations. It argues that global fundraising enhances resilience by diversifying revenue streams, reducing dependence on fragile local markets, and strengthening cross-border solidarity. The study situates international fundraising within the framework of sustainable development and organizational capacity-building, emphasizing four dimensions: readiness, cross-cultural sensitivity, digital platforms, and compliance. Case examples from Africa and Southeast Asia illustrate how grassroots organizations leverage crowdfunding, diaspora networks, and faith-based partnerships to mobilize international resources. The article concludes that global fundraising is not only a financial mechanism but also a relational practice that builds trust, legitimacy, and long-term partnerships.
