In September 2021, a salvage excavation was conducted at 4, Gemul Street in Jerusalem (Permit No. A-9111; map ref. 221442/633086; Fig. 1 ), following the exposure of antiquities during construction work. The excavation, on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and funded by the Hadas Capital Company Ltd., was directed by N. Silverberg, with the assistance of A. Landes-Nagar (preliminary inspection), N. Nehama (administration), S. Halevi (field photography and photogrammetry), A. Zakaim (plan), A. Shapiro (location map), K. Arbiv (metal detection) and D. Gazit (studio photography).
