Abstract

In July 2020, a salvage excavation was conducted at Mo z a (Permit No. A-8778; map ref. 216452/633618; Fig. 1), prior to the construction of a nursing home. The excavation, on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and funded by the Rachel Litchek Nursing Home Chain, was directed by M. Chernin (field photography), with the assistance of N. Nehama (administration), D. Tanami (trial trenches), K. Arbiv (inspection), S. Halevy (surveying and field photography), O. Zakaim (drafting), Y. Zelinger (scientific consulting) and workers from East Jerusalem.
