In November 2020, a salvage excavation was conducted along T al Street in Moshav She’ar Yashuv in the north of the H ula Valley (Permit No. A-8869; map ref. 260658–819/792752–906; Fig. 1), after antiquities were identified while laying down a swage pipe. The excavation, on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority, was directed by R. Assis (drafting and field photography), with the assistance of Y. Yaakobi (administration), A. Kleiner (surveying), H. Bron (physical anthropology), H. Tahan-Rosen (pottery drawing) and E. Dalali-Amos (plans).
