Judy A. Vinson served as the Assistant Dean of Students, Dean of Students, and Vice President for Student Affairs at The University of Texas-Pan American (UTPA), completing 21 years of services in student affairs administration in higher education. During her last five years at UTPA, she worked for the campus president in the Institutional Effectiveness Division as the Coordinator of Policy Planning and Analysis. Judy strongly believed in the value of TACUSPA and was very involved in the association, serving in roles such as Conference Program Chair, Conference Chair, Secretary-Historian, Vice President, President-Elect, and President (1994-1995). Judy Vinson wrote this original TACUSPA history in November 1990 to fulfill course requirements at the George Peabody College for Teachers of Vanderbilt University.
