Educational tourism involves traveling to acquire knowledge and experience relevant to academic interests, often through visits to historical sites, museums, universities, and cultural landmarks. The purpose of this report is to present good international practices of educational tourism at the international level. This paper contributes to the reviews of the conceptualisation of mobile student experience within tourism studies, critical acculturation research, and mobilities research. This way it positions experience as an immersive process through the documentation of student reflections of place involving the intricacies of embodied learning and experiential mobilities. The research is part of a research project with Contract № KP-06-N75/17 from 15.12.2023 entitled: „Research of opportunities for the implementation and development of educational tourism in Bulgaria: Cultural heritage in support of formal education“, led by Chief Assist.
