This special issue offers a selection of papers derived from research presented at an International Conference held on 26-28 May 2023 in the Italian town of Assisi, on the general topic "Religion, Spirituality and Wellbeing". We hope the articles contribute to ongoing efforts to better understand the links between religion, health and well-being, using a transdisciplinary approach involving theology, philosophy, health sciences and human sciences.
