As far as behavioral patterns of investment studies are concerned, studies are less in developing countries like India when contrasted with other emerging countries. Hence, this study aims to assess individual investors’ investment behavior in Indian markets to gain a profound understanding of the investment pattern. By utilizing a random sampling technique, the sample has been taken from 100 individual investors. Moreover, a hypothesis of the study has been generated and tested utilizing a t-test. The study exposed that the socio-demographic variables had a positive relationship with risk-bearing capacity, investment awareness, and investment habits. The study revealed that the investor’s behaviors toward investment in Indian markets are significantly influenced by rational as well as emotional elements.
