In 2024, for the first time, the Rostov State Medical University held an Olympiad for students in grades 8-11, “My Path to Medicine.” A comparative assessment of the results of passing the practice-oriented stage of the Olympiad by different categories of schoolchildren was carried out. It was found that those who underwent simulation training demonstrated better results during the practice-oriented stage of the Olympiad in comparison with schoolchildren who were interested in medicine but did not have prior training using simulation technologies.
