Indonesia continues to develop the halal industry through strengthening the halal ecosystem with the aim of becoming the world's halal center in 2024where the development of halal industry infrastructure is a necessity for the realization of comprehensive halal governance and acceleration of the halal ecosystem, with limited studies on halal industrial areas precisely or comprehensively encouraging this research to focus on regarding halal infrastructure and an overview of halal ecosystems in halal industrial areas in Indonesia, using a descriptive qualitative method by exploring the governance of halal industrial areas in forming halal ecosystems and halal infrastructure that has been built, from this paper tries to analyze halal infrastructure and constraints on development halal industrial area, namely: poor infrastructure, a lack of halal awareness, and a lack of cooperation among the organizations in charge of infrastructure, apart from that this research offers suggestions for improvement, this study is relevant both for halal industry stakeholders, both government and academia.
