The provision of safe and easily available drinking water is of utmost importance for the well-being and continued existence of the human population. Nevertheless, a multitude of locations encounter difficulties in ensuring the accessibility of cost-effective and environmentally sustainable potable water. To tackle this issue, we put up a novel water vending system that incorporates RFID and IoT technologies. The focal point of the research inquiry is the provision of potable water that is both safe and affordable. This project aims to bring about a significant transformation in the water vending sector by implementing a system that improves customer satisfaction, fosters environmental sustainability, and streamlines financial operations. The approach used in this study included the utilization of RFID technology for user authentication and the customization of water distribution volumes based on individual preferences. The use of a sonar sensor facilitates a user-friendly mode of engagement, giving individuals the ability to manipulate the flow of water by manual gestures. The integration of smartphones enables the convenient process of topping up cards, hence reducing the need to use physical currency. The primary findings are improved water availability, waste reduction, and optimized financial transactions. The implementation of routine cleaning procedures and continuous monitoring of water quality guarantees the provision of clean water. This approach plays a significant role in mitigating water shortages, reducing dependence on bottled water, and promoting environmental sustainability by using biodegradable packaging. The suggested system addresses the issues associated with water vending via the use of RFID and IoT technologies. This solution provides an automated, user-friendly, and environmentally conscientious method for the provision of clean water.
