In current study an inventory model is developed, in which preservation technology is used to reduce deterioration rate. In this work the demand depends on selling price and time, which decrease rapidly with respect to time. Shortages are allowed. The main objective of this paper is to minimize the total cost with respect to optimal variables. A numerical example, graph, and sensitivity analysis are given to explain the results. Graphs and sensitivity analysis are calculated with the help of software Mathamatica 7.0.
