Abstract

The article is devoted to an iconic figure in Russian methodological science – Honorary Professor of the Moscow State University A.D. Deikina. The contribution of the scientist to the development of the methodology of teaching the Russian language as a science and an educational subject was noted. The central theme of the jubilee’s research is axiological linguametrics. A brief analysis of the activities of the Moscow scientific methodological school “Axiological linguametrics: worldview and value aspects in school and university teaching of the Russian language” is presented. A professional portrait of the leader of the scientific school is given.
