In addition to the afore-mentioned committees, SOCCA has expanded to include numerous working groups (Women in Critical Care, Early Career Intensivists, Intensivists in Private Practice) and two councils (Program Directors Advisory Council and Service Chiefs Advisory Council).These groups are open to all SOCCA members, including medical students, residents, and fellows.The expansion of the society and working groups has provided opportunities for physicians at every level to be engaged in SOCCA's mission.We are a big tent that welcomes all who wish to be involved with the advancement of critical care.SOCCA's highlights in 2023 include record attendance (in person and virtually) at the annual meeting in Denver, Colorado.Due to the interest and enthusiasm shown by members, we are proud to announce the expansion of the annual meeting in 2024, which will be held in conjunction with the International Anesthesia Research Society.We will be increasing our meeting offerings from one to three days, with opportunities for multiple SOCCA-sponsored networking breakfasts, committee meetings, and a new point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) workshop.With the growing importance of proficiency in whole-body ultrasonography in providing timely diagnosis, this is a great opportunity for all to get hands-on experience with live models and training from experts in the field.The Education Committee, led by Drs.Allison Dalton and Kunal Karamchandani, has been invaluable in
