In our paper, we would like to analyze some of the foreign language teaching methods used so far. We also pay special attention to the impact of the environment and cultural phenomena on the speed and quality of learning Polish as a foreign language. We base our research primarily on groups of people learning Polish whose native language is any Slavic language. Research of this type can be used primarily by universities that teach Polish as a foreign language and then offer continuation of education at higher education. These analyzes can also support the effectiveness of Polish as a foreign language courses organized by language schools.
