Many options are now available for using big data to improve urban planning and administration owing to the proliferation of "smart cities." This paper investigates how big data could facilitate effective and efficient planning solutions for smart cities. The article examines the challenges and opportunities of utilizing big data and provides a systematic method for incorporating big data into the planning process. The study would also shed light upon the Tools for data collecting, analysis, and visualization and ideas for data security and privacy. Through this study, we intend to emphasize the value of big data in enhancing urban planning strategies and encouraging sustainable growth in smart cities.
