The purpose of this publication is to study the legal mechanisms governing digital platforms and the digital technologies that make up their essence, which form a qualitatively different reality and a new content of relations developing in civil turnover as one of the key factors of production. Digital data arrays are used to create consumer demand, simplify the conclusion of contracts within digital platforms, and facilitate logistics. Therefore, the legal community needs to understand the specifics of relations between business entities in the process of digitalization of platforms and markets, as well as determine the understanding of the digital platform and the architecture of regulating relations involving the use of platforms and come to a consolidated opinion on the concept of understanding the digital platform from the perspective of civil law.
