Modern economic science pays attention to the set of theories that study many factors that contribute to the growth of well-being (satisfaction), which ultimately should determine the direction of economic policy, the development of effective indicators that assess the quality of modern development. The relevance of the presented study is due to the need to improve the systematization of scientific concepts of subjective well-being (happiness economics) in relation to Russian specifics, as well as the need to develop various approaches and multifactor indicators necessary for assessing the subjective well-being of the population, taking into account, among other things, the specifics of the socio-cultural development of various countries.
