The presented work analyzes the prospective Federal Law on personalization of representation in court hearings. The main emphasis is placed on studying the mechanism of compensation of expenses related to legal representation. Possible problems in terms of practical implementation of the law are discussed. The shortcomings of the proposed initiative are analyzed and its social significance for ensuring citizens' access to justice is emphasized.
