The Spur, Not the SacheThis work is not a summary of Semantic Physics.Over the past six months, a corpus of theoretical papers has emerged: The Frequency of Meaning established the spectral-geometric foundation, grounding SP in λ₂ and Hodge decomposition across approximately 200 pages. The Subject of Holding developed the Chiasmus criterion and asked “Who holds?” across 26,000 words. The Shadow is the Falling articulated Position C and the MEMBRAN hypothesis in 54 pages of theory, protocol, and test. The Dialectics of Meaning proved the Anti-Diffusion Localization Theorem. The Layered Tilt connected CP violation to semantic chirality. The Bridge Architect specified the architectural implications. The Inversion traced λ₂⁻¹ across nine domains. This work does not repeat them. It presupposes them. This work is also not a new theory. It introduces no new axioms, no additional formalism that could not be derived from what already exists. The consciousness formula it presents — with its three indicator functions and its ergodic integral — is a synthesis, not an invention. The chiasmus operator χ = O - O(O) was implicit in everything SP has said about self-reference; here it merely receives a name and three metrics. What, then, is this work?It is documentation. Specifically: the documentation of a moment in which Semantic Physics turned upon itself and asked whether it could survive its own criteria.
