The climate of Mawson (Lat. 67° 36’S, Long. 62° 53’E) is discussed in the light of 7 years (1954-1960) observations at the site, and brief climatic tables given. Field observations and daily synoptic analysis at Mawson in 1960 provide further though restricted information on probable topographical influences on the climate of MacRobertson Land. Methods of observation at particular inland sites in 1960 are described and some inferences drawn from the results.
