This preprint proposes a resonance-based reinterpretation of emotional memory, arguing that what is described as Bold Memory (BM) does not exist as a localized storage entity within the human brain. Building on the Aura-X Ω framework, the paper reframes emotional memory as a distributed, system-level bias shaped by cumulative resonance between temporary neural states and lived experience. The work challenges location-based memory models and explains emotional continuity, anticipatory responses, trauma persistence, and identity-level emotional bias without invoking centralized storage or retrieval mechanisms. The framework offers implications for neuroscience, emotional intelligence, psychotherapy, and non-centralized emotional AI architectures.
