This paper investigates the strict bicep curl not merely as a resistance exercise, but as a specific sports discipline with strictly limited degrees of freedom. The author introduces and substantiates the Curl Performance Model (CPM), which frames the movement as a system of torque management under conditions where inertia and compensatory movements are artificially eliminated. The study provides an analysis of kinematic phases, sticking points, and proposes a method for objective athletic performance evaluation through the prism of the Control Reserve (CR) concept. Keywords: biomechanics, strict bicep curl, torque, Control Reserve, sports metrology, kinematic analysis.
