Start-2 is a causal measurement system designed to locate information within a finite space of truths. In a universe treated as theoretically finite with terminal closure at cardinality 118, “truth” cannot be absolute or infinite; it must be operationalized as structured convergence toward stable causal regimes. Start-2 does not output binary truth values. Instead, it measures an imperfect signal’s tendency toward one of a finite set of causal functions. The work introduces five complementary tables of 118 causal truths, anchored to the set of materializable chemical elements, and proposes a closed, structured basis for comparing and classifying information under finitude constraints. The framework emphasizes tendency, residue, and stability as first-class objects for audit and classification.
