This article examines the experience of spiritual and moral education in one of Russia’s regions, Kuban. It describes the traditions and customs of the Kuban Cossacks, which formed the foundation of the upbringing of the younger generation. It explores the specifics of wedding ceremonies, in which children participate, as a creative and ethnocultural phenomenon. Practical materials on preserving Kuban traditions are offered, helping schoolchildren develop an understanding of this cultural and historical phenomenon and foster respect for folk culture and a desire to embody it in their lives.
