Abstract

INTRODUCTION: Neuroendocrine differentiation and α-fetoprotein production (AFP) are 2 rarely reported features in poorly differentiated gastric carcinomas. We report an extremely rare case of esophageal carcinoma (EC) featuring both histologic types.
