In this study, we proposed an image processing method for detecting cracks on various exterior patterns of RC walls based on drone observation. This method aims to detect thin cracks with 0.1 mm width or more by considering observation conditions and by multi-stage noise removal in the image processing technique. The applicability of the method was validated and the limitations were discussed by applying to five types of exterior patterns.
