Community-based adolescent sexual and reproductive health education (CSARHEE) programmes are crucial in addressing the evolving needs of adolescents in developing countries like Nigeria. A comprehensive search strategy was employed using electronic databases such as PubMed, Embase, and Google Scholar. Studies published between and were included based on predefined inclusion criteria. The review identified a total of 37 relevant studies, with a significant proportion (65%) reporting positive outcomes related to knowledge enhancement and behaviour change among adolescents in northern Nigeria. Despite the availability of CSARHEE programmes, there is room for improvement regarding content relevance and delivery methods. A more tailored approach could enhance programme effectiveness. Future research should focus on developing culturally-sensitive educational materials that incorporate both traditional and modern communication channels to maximise impact. Treatment effect was estimated with logit (pᵢ) =₀+^ Xᵢ, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
