Clinical evaluation is one of the cornerstones of medical education. The objective structured clinical examination (OSCE) is a commonly adopted practical tool to evaluate the clinical and practical skills of doctors. Data interpretation involves analyzing and explaining the significance of data. It connects data analysis to real-world applications by focusing on the “why” and “what” behind the numbers or observations. A structured and comprehensive data analysis report offers valuable insights into OSCE performance and identifies areas for enhancement. Here is an example of such a report. This report analyzes the performance data from the recent OSCE for the final gastroenterology clinical exam conducted by the Arab Board of Health Specializations on February 23, 2025 in Amman, Jordan. It covers overall success rate, individual candidate success rate, success rate for each station, candidates’ performance in the slides station, extreme stations, as well as a summary, conclusion, and recommendations.
