Abstract

This study focuses on evaluating maternal care facilities in Tanzania by applying a Bayesian hierarchical model to assess clinical outcomes. A Bayesian hierarchical model was developed using data from -. The model accounts for variability in facility-specific outcomes while estimating overall system effectiveness. The analysis revealed significant variations in clinical success rates across different facilities, with some showing substantial improvement over others. This study demonstrates the utility of Bayesian hierarchical models in evaluating maternal care systems and highlights disparities among facilities. Further research should focus on policy interventions to address identified shortcomings in less effective facilities.
