This paper conceptualizes the structural transformation from a Traceness-Presumptive Structure to a Non-Self-Evident Evidentiality Structure under generative conditions, including AI-generated imagery. It argues that presumptive evidentiality no longer automatically attaches to visual images at the moment of presentation and that verification dependence becomes structurally necessary.
