Frey syndrome is a complication of parotid gland surgery, characterized by skin flushing and sweating in the preauricular/subauricular region following gustatory stimulation, that typically appears months to years after the surgery. Herein, we report a case of severe Frey syndrome that was successfully treated by dissection of the boundary between the skin and parotid gland during the surgery and coverage of the area with Gore-Tex.
