We propose a simple and high-speed method for the parameters estimation in Compartment Model (CM) system where output function is described by the convolution between input function and impulse response. The method uses Linear Regression Analysis (LRA) based on a Linear Regression Equation (LRE) including cumulative functions. In this paper, we present that the LRE can be simply derived by Laplace transform from the differential equations of the system, without knowing the impulse response. Moreover, taking the estimation problem of CM system used in such as Positron Emission Tomography (PET) inspection and Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) for examples, we show that the proposed method works effectively in the sense of estimation accuracy and high-speed processing, by experimental results for noiseless output function of the system.
