Expression profile of circular RNAs in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients with retinopathy

Abstract

This study identified five downregulated and three upregulated circRNAs associated with DR. Among them, hsacircRNA₄07262 may play a crucial role in the pathological process of DR and holds potential as a candidate biomarker for early diagnosis.
