F-box protein 28 serves as a prognostic and predictive biomarker for gastric cancer
Key Points
FBXO28 expression is linked to improved prognosis in gastric cancer patients, suggesting a tumor-suppressive role.
Patients with higher levels of FBXO28 in gastric cancer exhibit better clinical outcomes.
Analysis reveals FBXO28's association with the epithelial-mesenchymal transition process, crucial in cancer progression.
Findings may lead to new strategies for targeting gastric cancer, providing hope for better treatments.
Abstract
FBXO28 played a tumor-suppressive role in GC cells and was related to the EMT process. Patients with GC with a better prognosis expressed higher levels of FBXO28.
