The article discusses proper nouns (specifically anthroponyms, eventonyms, militarionyms, politonyms, chrononyms, and chrematonyms) that incorporate numerals, whether cardinal or ordinal. Employing onomasiological, structural-semantic, corpus, and cognitive-discursive analysis methods, the article identifies the peculiarities of numeral inclusion within the structure of proper nouns. It further establishes the specifics of the development of additional meanings in these onyms: encompassing connotative (expressive, emotional, evaluative), associative, and symbolic dimensions. Additionally, the role of proper nouns with a numerical component in preserving sociocultural memory is determined. The source base for the linguistic material comprises the Russian National Corpus and articles from several online publications focusing on history, culture, and the sociopolitical life of the people. The study concludes that numerals (both cardinal and ordinal) within the structure of proper nouns not only serve to denote the quantitative characteristics of objects or phenomena in the social world but also play a significant role in creating specific semantic effects, forming particular emotional and ideological associations and conveying sociocultural values. The key functions of nominations with a numerical component in a sociocultural context are identified as: nominative-differentiating, axiological, and symbolic. It is noted that a numeral, which typically holds a categorizing function by determining the multiplicity of similar objects, transforms into a nomination of a specific, unique referent when integrated into the structure of a proper noun.
