Graduate teaching assistants play an important role in ensuring the quality of basic course education and promoting the construction of first-class universities and disciplines of the world. The evaluation system for graduate teaching assistants plays a positive and effective role in the cultivation of graduate teaching assistants. While clarifying the focus of work for teaching assistants, it can also reflect the problems in the cultivation of teaching assistants. In this paper, we introduce the exploration and practice of the evaluation system of teaching assistant in School of Physics and Astronomy of Shanghai Jiaotong University. We have established a practical and feasible quality evaluation system for the quality of teaching assistant work, which is mainly based on objective and quantifiable content and has broad promotion and practical significance.
